Default idle up and down, and ruff

guys,
my car is idling all f'ked up and its runnin ruff. what could this be? i got no CEL .

what motor? check vacuum lines and gaskets.

Could be your Fast Idle Control Valve or something like that (dunno if that's the acutal name for it).

I know it's on the throttle body and controls airflow and idle.

Look into that.

Check:
- IACV (Intake Air Control Valve)
- FICV (Fast Idle Control Valve)
- Coolant -> Purge air
- Timing
- Idle screw adjustment

Generally, I find that you get bouncy idle if your timing is retarded. Try advancing it a couple of degrees over stock. Gives you better power anyways, and you can still run pump gas without problems.

If it just started all the sudden it might be you have bad fuel.
