Icon2 IDENTIFY THIS ENGINE BLOCK

So I have this engine block, which is definitely from a Honda, but the code on the exhaust side of the block to identify it (eg. d17a2) is absent. Instead there is a code in the exact same place which is: 5P0 2183. I am just curious which engine this is, if anyone could tell me what it is, or point me in the right direction to find out it would be greatly appreciated. Here are a few pictures to help.

Is it an empty block? What parts are in it?

If you right-click on the broken img icon and open in a new window (chrome), you can see pics of it at his google+ account.

Looks like a block stripped bare.

The only other parts I have from the engine are two pistons minus their rings and rod caps, as well I have the water pump and thermostat.

What bore is it? That would help to identify it

I measured approximately 2.9" using a digital caliper.
