IAT Intake airtemp sens CEL Problem.
Alright so I can't seem to figure out whats going on here... I have a 00 SI with gsr block / b16 head using p2t ECU and stock harness..
I keep getting CEL errors for Intake airtemp sensor, sooo, I buy a brand new IAT sensor from honda, oem brand spankin new and it will still check engine for IAT.
If i reset the ecu i can drive for about 5 minutes until the CEL will popup, I check the code, and once again it will be IAT Just wonderin if anyone might have an idea... I am using a stock airbox now to see if that would help for some reason but it doesnt, same problemo. please helps!
thanks ; p

the factory Si IAT sensor is located on the intake arm and has a special square plug. The GSR engine has the IAT sensor on the intake manifold runner #4 I believe. Your Si's IAT plug won't plug into the GSR's IAT sensor unless you change the plug to an OBD1 style IAT sensor plug.
You should reuse your Si IAT sensor on the intake pipe..
which IAT sensor are you using?

Hmm, perhaps the sensor is bad.
Check to see if you mixed up plugs with the EVAP solenoid (sensor mounted on top of fuel rail). I believe the IAT and EVAP have the same style of plug and can be mixed up...
