Default IACV & MAP

how can i tell if my IACV and MAP sensor is bad... because my idle (when engine is warm) goes up and down up and down... and goes away after a min. but it happens when im at a stop. so im assuming its might be the IACV and MAP sensor.. anyone..?

Try swapping plugs with MAP/TPS. You might've mixed the plugs up.

i would think it would be your fitv, it needs to be adjusted, if you are saying it only does this when it is warm

if you pull the plug off the map, the car will die.

If you pull the plug out of the iacv, the idle should drop low

I have the same problem. Some people told me it was a bad IACV they told me to clean it or replace it! I said im not goin to spend the money on a new one! I have an after market Skunk2 Intake Pro-series and 68mm TB on my D16y8... IACV needs to be cleaned!
(My idle is bouncing from 1500-2000rpm when stopped) I have tried the screw for the air flow of the IACV but it dint seem to do anything! So my thought was the IACV is F***d!!!
