Default Is IAB and knock needed when doing a swap.

I have a 95 ex and going to be putting a b18C1 engine in it, and was wondering would it be ok to not wire in knock and IAB? If i didn't what would open? Would it be a big problems or just a small problem that didn't really effect anything? Thanks for any input!

if you like bogging and a check engine light from the knock sensor, and you like losing torque without an IAB then you can go without both.

You can by pass the IAB to get rid of that sensor. You can by pass it 2 ways. Both of which can be found here on the forums.
If you want to wire it in one of the wires for the sensor signal will go to the ECU at A17 and the sensor power will get tapped into the yellow/black at B1.
Knock sensor is on wire sensor that will go to D3.

Also you will have to move your 4wire o2 sensor to the rear part of the harness so it will reach the gsr's o2 sensor.

If you got the Original GSR engine harness you can source the plugs from there. kinda of a waste of a complete harness for 2 plugs. Try to find the plugs else where and sell the GSR harness if it is complete.

PM Me if you need more help.

So ur saying cut the plugs from the GSR harness and just use those two plugs in order to wire it?

yes you need couple of ecu pins also it is much easier to use the gsr harness if it is complete.

I have the gsr harness. Where is the best place to get the ecu pins? Or can i reuse some pins from the gsr harness?

no use your gsr harness on the engine , whatever you do don't damage it. you can get ecu pins at any junk yard. if in a hurry just cut 1 of the 3 ecu plugs out of a wrecked car with as much wire as possible still attached, go home and practice pulling the ecu pins without damaging them. also i use a sharpened piece of wire or paper clip and it works great.
