Default I need some pointers on wiring VX hatch.

Can anyone make this clear, Im confuse because some poeple say you gotta do this and some people say you gotta do that specially on the color code. I have an USDM OBD1 b18c1 into a 92 VX hatch.

1. What to do with 5 wire 02 sensor. (I heard that all i need to do is get a GSR o2 and then it plug in, but do i need to modify any wires?) I dont know if it make any different but keep in mind i have an OBD1 USDM engine with harness and p72 ECU.

2. knock sensor (Do i need to run an extra wire for this or just switch the wire on the socket located at passenger side tower. In this case, which one?)

3. Switch red wire on ECU harness from a20 to a17 for secondary runners for the intake manifold.

Can someone clarify these and let me know if im forgot something. Thank you!

See my sig for complete instructions.

You have to ditch the vx o2 sensor and use an obd1 gsr o2 sensor. There is only 1 wire you need to move (ORG/BLU) to get the o2 sensor working properly.

You do not need to run any wires at all when swapping an OBD1 B18c1 into a vx. Everything is already there just pinned out in different locations. You just need to move the BLU/YEL wire.

Move A20 to A17 for the secondaries.

That is it. I can give you refrences that have seen my swap and will verify I know what I'm talking about. I traced every wire in the harness with a digital multimeter to verify the wiring is correct. I have no CEL's and never have, My car just passed emissions in MD with flying colors. I did every bit of the wiring and swap myself.

dwnthehatch is correct. You do not need to run any wires at all when swapping an OBD1 B18c1 into a vx, as long as you are using the gsr engine harness. I didn't have to run any wires at all to do my swap. The only question I have is, where did you get the power feed to run the purge control solenoid? Good write up on the wiring sequence.
