Wiring GURUS look at my B16sir2 wiring harness into a VX Is it okay?
Alright guys, i'm about 7 days away from swapping a JDM - second gen b16 into a 92 vx hatch. I'm really confident in myself that I can handle the mechanical part of the swap. I am just paranoid about the electrical. I've studied the hell out of the ETMS, both delsol vtec and the civic vx ETM. I just got done splicing into the harness where all the wires need to go.... at least where i THINK they need to go. Let me know if anything looks iffy or if i'm missing anything. My motor will be here monday and I can then solder on the o2 sensor connector and the knock sensor connector.
Here is the harness
Here is the connector on the driver side shock tower... this yellow wire is tapping into a25 or b1 (ignition +) It is a yellow/black wire.
Here is the wire ran for pin d22 for a o2 sensor wire. This wiere is tapped into the green/white wire on the TPS sensor, according to the ETM it makes its way to pin d22.
Finally, this is kinda a messy shot. This is of the 4 plugs on the passenger side shock tower. The black wire is another o2 wire pinned to A6 The blue wire is the knock sensor wire pinned to D3 and the white wire is the final o2 wire pinned to d14.
What do ya think... its obviously not done yet. I"m going to tie them up along the main wire harness path and run them to where they are supposed to go.

What is that harness out of? You should be able to use the stock VX harness and simply add the knock sensor wire if you plan to use it. Thats all. I don't see why you added all those other wires.

this is a 94 vx harness.... Yeah I have to convert from a 5 wire plug to a 4 wire. i know i may have done a little more work than I should have but i'm just going to solder those 4 wires into the 4 wire plug off of the b16 harness.

i would of gotten an ex/si harness and deal with no hassels, but oh well
make sure to through some tape around those wires and cover them up. if they sence any interference the will trough O2 sensor code. this is one of the easier swaps, so dont worry. you can always fix the problem later, its only an O2 sesnsor the car will start without it
