i have a S4C and its wont go into reverse no matter what even when car is off. It'll shift fine into all other 5 gears though. What do ya think could be the problem and/or the solution???

Likely problem: damaged 5th-reverse synchro sleeve
Solution: Replace 5th-reverse synchro set, check 5th gear for damage (replace as needed), and recheck mainshaft thrust clearance
Cost: ~$120 for the synchro set and probably another $70 for a replacement 5th gear (if needed)
PM Dan GSR. He's in NY and might be close enough to do the work for you....at a price, but it won't be too bad.
