in the houston area $550 is the going rate. then you add the cost of the tuning system, if hondata s300 is used figure 500+ for that as well.

Lol I'm asking how much HP gain with the parts and a tune. Not price for a tune. And i just moved from the Houston area to Michigan. I miss it!

No gain for the rods... gains by the pistons will depend on the compression ratio and gains for the cams will depend on how matched they are with the pistons. Also, you didn't share what engine you have now, what mods it already has, and how much power you made before considering the options you have outlined above.

If you truly want help, please be more forthcoming and specific with details. The generality of your statements above can only be answered with hypothetical generalizations.

Since you're new, here are a couple tips to help you get better answers (and to avoid getting flamed):
  1. Your mod list is very vague. Are you sticking with stock length rods? stock compression or higher compression pistons? Be specific with your build idea.
  2. Instead of asking if xyz parts makes this much horsepower, start with a power goal in mind. From there pick the appropriate parts that will help reach your goal.
  3. The All Motor Forum has a dyno thread with numerous builds and dyno results: https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-mo...hread-1583606/
  4. Don't make another "guess my horsepower" thread: https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-mo...sting-2875316/
Guess my Horsepower Threads
There is no way to accurately answer such a question and it doesn't promote good technical discussion. These are not allowed and will be locked immediately. If your looking for numbers similar to a setup your running search or check the ''Official All Motor Dyno thread''

better dizzy? there's no such thing.
155hp? try closer to 115-120hp.
none of the parts you listed increase power at all except the header. and the gains from that are very very minimal. actually about zero if you have a stockish exhaust still.

B18b has a stock hp of 150. I said 155 cause of the header and cold air intake. and your gunna sit here and tell me there ain't such thing as a better dizzy??

Well there is the MSD Pro Billet distributor but other than that you've just got external coil caps by MSD or stronger coils by Accel.

As far as HP we made 187whp on a B18B with a ported head, Delta 272's, stock retainers, Blox dual springs with the inner spring removed, stock valves and guides, 70mm TB, B16A2 floating OE style pistons, eagle rods and a knifed/lifghtened crank. Trans had an OBX LSD, stock gear ratios with 4th and 5th removed. Tuned on Crome. I build engines for a lot of those hornet FWD circle track cars that have becomepopular in the states. LS motors are starting to see a lot of testing and development due to this new popular racing class and the fact that the DA Integra is the best handling all around chassis for the class.

If you want to pull real HP out of an LS you need to knife edge and lighten the crank as far as the machinist is willing to go and port the head.

Perhaps it would be in kwade9015's interest to really get to the heart of the matter and describe what you're trying to do with this particular application. And please don't use "As much power as I can with what I got!" as an answer.
This is a technical forum, and so far, we're just seeing a lot of vague questions with defensive attitude over honest criticism .

C'mon kwade9015.. Get the the meat of the matter.. what is the purpose here? what are you trying to get to ultimately?.

I'll give this a few days for kwade9015 to get more specific. After that, I may be obliged to lock this puppy because it's really not going anywhere, and it needs to..

Well after some thinking i wanna get 350 to 400 hp out of it. Now if I have to turbo it then that's what I want to know about. And what all I need to properly get to that goal of 350 to 400hp. with my b18b I'm prepared to do what it takes to accomplish this. I have a 93 eg hatch with a b18b ls trans. And from what ive heard turbo is the only way to really go about this with my motor safely.
