How to wire OBD1 distributor to work on OBD2a 97 civic coupe. with b16a swap
using a jdm b16a sir2 motor the problem is that the vtec kicks in but it doesnt work properly. What happens is that the vtec sputters and stops right about 6000 rpms.
1. stock computer jdm with conversion harnesss

3. change map sensor
4.changed tps sensor.
5. brand new injectors.
6. car revs up all the way if vtec is off or check engine light is on.
7. problem occurs only when vtec is on.
8. tried new vtec selonoid
9. made sure no dents in oil pan.
10. there are no check engine lights with jdm ecu.
