Default how reliable is your b20 or ls/vtec setup?

thinking of selling my 00'gsr swap and go with b20vtec for the ek hatch. what would you guys recomend and what problems have you guys come across? got about 5k for a new build. what kind of milege/ life would you expect? what would you do?

Use all new bearings and seals. VTEC oil/water pumps.
VTEC pistons or forged aftermarket. I think you know the routine. Basically just rebuild it with new parts and use as much true VTEC parts as possible.
