How reliable?
Okay, so my Civic is all stock, and it's a daily driver.I Would like to put something in it (was thinking of a b18 swap for $4k), but I was wondering how reliable it would be (Seeing as how I need it for work/college). Would there be some other things I could do to put out good hp (smaller swap/turbo, maybe?)? or would that make it even more unreliable... Any help would be helpful. Thanks. =p

Many many people will tell you that they did an engine swap X years ago, and it's been perfect. I did mine over 3 years ago, and have had exactly zero problems regaurding the installation. Zero wiring failures, zero mount failures, zero axle failures, etc. It's as reliable as you make it.
Alright. Perfect. my uncle would be helping me do the swap...And around how long does it take if you know what you're doing? (He's been building/racing funnycars, and has his own shop etc, re does heads blah blah. Basicly, he's good.)
