Where to go?
I was just wondering if there was anybody on here from the oklahoma/north texas area that has had an engine swap done. I need a good place to go i want somebody reliable.

instead of paying someone to do a swap for you. you should invest in some tools, and lay some time down to research, and talk to people on the board that have done your type of swap in your car. I've heard its fairly simple once you get started. There are TONS of people on here that can help you with anything you need, and i mean ANYTHING. Even noobs have done their own swaps in a weekend bro. just grab some tools, and ask us if you run into a problem, thats what we're here for. but whatever you do, good luck

I'm sure you can do it.. just research first as MUCH AS YOU CAN, and find everything you need ahead of time.. and dive right in. It's the best way to learn IMO.

I dont know. Im kind of iffy about doing something that big myself. I want it done right and without any problems. If it means having to pay a reputable shop 500 bucks for labor than thats okay. I just want whatever i do to be reliable.
