Default How much engine oil burnt is normal with a new engine?

Brand new motor with forged pistons 9.0 compression. Built for turbo, but no funds for turbo so just a low compression n/a motor.

I'm currently breaking in the motor. I have it street tuned already. I was curious what is the normal amount of engine oil burnt? I have had the ring gaps set to 500-550whp. Ring specs are on like (.019"-.021" on the top ring and .020"-.023" on the bottom) I believe that is what it was off the top of my head.

I just went through my first tank of gas, and I had to top off with 1 liter.

Is this normal because of freshly built motor broken in the slow/soft way?
