i dont know where your getting your information from because the instuctions say NOT to use loctite or any other type of thread sealer on them unless your threading them into a coolant filled hole.
you thread them in dry and hand tight until they stop moving.

I get my information from ARP direct. It does say you can use loctite for the studs other than a coolant filled hole. Did you want a pic of the instructions posted?
