im getting a action clutch soon and thinking of installing my self and save me 250 dollars. Anyone know a website that give directions? its a 95 cx hatch with stock b16a motor and tranny. let me know guys thanks..
buy a helms its easy if you got a jack jackstands and an afternoon to work through it
drain tranny fluid, remove brake rotor, remove axles, tranny, then pull out off old pressure plate, remove clutch pressure plate, and throwout bearing, replace them, align clutch, then tighten pressure plate, then align with tranny spline, then bolt tranny to motor, axles back in, knuckles together, brakes back together and off you go

im not too great at installing things... Everything on my car is installed myself including suspension, turbo and exhaust... But everything took WAY WAY WAY longer than it should. Plus I am trying to get this clutch overnighted so I can head down to Nopi Race Wars with a car club to Atlanta......
I just put in a clutchmasters into my car - But the engine was out - The actual change of clutches isn't bad at all, though. On mine, I didn't even have to drain the tranny fluid (B18B1). The tranny housing detaches from the block where the flywheel is located, but the gearbox part stays sealed.
As for jackstands - If you have a jack that lifts fairly high, lift the car (put a piece of wood between the jack and the car) right next to the typical jack point. My jackstands at full length can get the bottom of the car at least 10-11" off the ground. With that clearance, and the fact that the engine sits a bit higher than that, you should have enough room to let the tranny down -
Another tip - Use white lithium grease and grease up the throwout bearing and lever. It makes the clutch pedal a bit lighter as you drive during the clutch break-in period (250-500 miles of granny-style gear engagements)
Good luck - I have pics of my install if you'd like me to send them to you
Cheers

Yes they do, its uber easy. I have done one and i will be taking my car apart again this weekend. You can use the search function on here for tons of helpful information, seperating ball joints, all kinda stuff.
Your gonna need
1/2 in breaker bar
32mm Socket
12mm 10pt ( i think)
17mm 10 pt
The transcase bolts are like 14mm i think.
The starter bolts are 12mm.
Ball joint is 12 or 14mm
Halfshaft support is like 12 mm
Theres also other assorted 10mm bolts, ground, slave cylinder linkage.
12mm slave cylinder bolts
12mm shift linkage bolts
I think thats about it, you will need to have your flywheel resurfaced, ball joint boots, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, and grease. I think that covers pretty much everything. And a torque wrench, flywheel bolts are 74ft lbs, PP bolts are 25 or something. You can put screwdriver through the flywheel holes, where the PP bolts went, to keep the flywheel from moving
