Pivot Vtec Controller.. (00 civic ex) HELP

Ok. Hooked this thing up and now my friends car runs like ***.. AND NOW NO VTEC. what the hell is going on ? anyone ever run this b4. and if so have any suggestions clues.. we hooked it up like the directions said..

Double check your connections, ground especially. Are you using the correct diagram for the correct ECU? When you say "runs like ***" what do you mean exactly, does it sputter? does it hesitate?

all the connections are "supposed" to be right.. it revs from like 4 g to 1 g back and forth and like i said no vtec at all now.. i will double check all the connections again ... but it seems like the diagram is wrong.. and its for the UH-3 on a d16y8.. anyone have a diagram of the stock harness and i can go from there to see if its something in the diagram they sent..
