how does oil get to the head????
how does oil get to the head when not in vtec?? i want to know if htere is a bypass in the vtec selinoid that allows oil into the head before vtec..

what do you mean?...there are oil passages going from the block to the head..the oil sump sucks up oil to the crank the crank then throws oil on the cylinder walls (thats how the walls get oiled) while the crank and oil pump are moving oil they move oil through the passages in the block up to the head which then get thrown around by the cams and the oil leaks back down through oil return passages
if you dont want to use vtec why dont you just unplug it instead of goin thru the trouble of making a plate to block it off?

Head feeds oil to the VTEC solenoid, NOT VTEC solenoid feeding the head.
You will be fine making your block off plate. Toda block off plate is $150 MSRP!!!
