Default CLUTCH PROBLEM

i got a 92 si, I was trying to start it yesturday, after i rewired the cabin harness, when i press my clutch down, it will stay there and i have to pull it back with my hands, and i cannot start my car. Any help?

hydraulic problem sounds like. is there pressure pushing it down?
did you tamper with anything else?

when i pull it back up, it stays up, its just when i push it in, it stays in. I mean i cant even start my car. I rewired the cabin wire harness. I hear it wanting to start but its not reconizing that the clutch is being pushed in. Iono what it could be

i'm guessing your gonna need pressure in the clutch to start it. safety thing. or theres something wrong in your harness.

rofl i think the mods should add a "Recommended" Rule. People on here are glad to help others out but threads like this one make the history of searching long and useless without conclusion lol. You might be glad they helped you but others with similar problems are still left with only ideas if you cant offer them the solution you found Maybe this is just my stupid thinking .. possibly the mystery of "why" is what intrigues some others lol
