I just installed skunk2 pro series manifold and edelbrock 65 mm throttle body on 89 crx dx w/b16. The manifold and throttle body had been used for about 2-3 weeks before I purchased them. After installing last night it threw a tps code. any suggestions why? They both look almost new so I dont think its a bad sensor and the person I purchased from so they had no problems(close friend). I also reset the ecu but it threw the could almost immediately after test drive. Please help

 

does anyone have any ideas. it seems to only throw the code when at w.o.t. cant figure it out driving me insane. does it go into safe mode when throwing tps.

 

Its probably not set right for your car. Check on how to calibrate it.

 

I have the same on my b18c. Calibrated my ***. mine was way off. Flat lined at wot.

 

I may be way off on this, but what happens if there is an air bubble in the coolant hook up at the bottom? I heard you had to bleed out the air.
