Default How do I remove oil pan studs?

I tried searching but couldn't come up with anything. I bought this bare block and one of the studs was pretty bent and the treads didn't look that good either.

Well try to start small, maybe some vice grips if you can get them in a proper position, however other than that bolt-outs, as they're called, are available from sears at a reasonable small set price to a higher priced, better selection set.

as said above. if the threads are not taht bad, try double nut trick. if they are bad, jsut force the nuts on. Either way, it's fubared. Or run a die over it and rethread it. then double nut it

If its bent, you won't be able to restore the thread. Just use a pair of channelock pliers, or vice grips, and it'll unscrew like a bolt.
