Default How to disable knock sensor?

I have a 5th gen prelude with a built bottom end. I'm pretty sure the noise from the engine is coming from the forged pistons. However I can't break the motor in b/c of the stupid CEL that comes on from the knock sensor. Can someone explain how to disable the stock knock sensor? Sorry if this is a repost.

Thanks

I've heard that you can ground the knock sensor wire. Not sure if it really works though.

Ok really quick question. I'm starting to get confused. Will piston slapping cause a CEL with the knock sensor? Just need a yes or no answer b/c it seems some people are saying that a CEL with the knock sensor means either the wiring or the KS is bad.

okay, I just found out. you need to have the knock sensor hooked up, but you can ground it instead of hooking it onto the block.
