how to convert auto to manual (ECU)

i have this p28 auto. what do i have to do to convert it? do i just remove the bottom two black things? or something else. thanks

I believe you remove RP17... It is said you must remove RP17 and RP18 then replace RP18 with a jumper wire, but I just removed RP17, left everything else alone... No code 19 and it runs as a manual ECU. Good Luck, it isnt too hard.
