how certain are you that your engine...?
check this out:
those online stores (i won't mention any names) claim their motors only have 30k-50k miles on them. i HEAR that (polution) law in japan isn't so restrictive anymore... so, i met an interesting person today. the person claimed, there is only 1 shipping port the united states pick up motors from overseas (your JDM motors). and that you cannot find an engine under 60k. just something to think about. who knows...

i know... sigh. person was like "i laugh at all the fools who think they only got around 30k-50k on their motors)." "i read the odometer and it's like 160k in japan which is about 100 in U.S. miles" makes you think twice now doesn't it.
all one has to do is check the seals...that basically tells you what kind of mileage the car has...since cars never get to a point where they have to change seals in japan....cam seals, rear main, oil pump...etc...more or less tells you the story. people getting swaps usually dont check on this but, this is like a main indicator of mileage that the motor has seen
