Default hot start continued

So my turbo b18c1 runs mint, but as soon as I shut it off when hot, it won't start for about another 30 min.

Found out there is no injector pulse when hot but when I spray false fuel into turbo it starts and stays running. Distributor has been replaced. Has spark and fuel.

Heard it could be crank sensor?

I would open up the ecu and look for any burned spots. Are you 100% sure there is spark when it's not starting ?

I suppose it's possible the main relay is bad. It controls the fuel pump AND the injectors.

Not sure exactly why it would be having issues when you shut her down but this is just a guess.

First thing I would check is the PGM-FI Main Relay, it is a cheap easy fix, and they are prone to intermittent problems. 94

You can either have someone resolder it or you can get one from rockauto, they use different names for it so look through different options, make sure to google "rockauto coupon code" before buying and plug it into the "how you heard about us" to get a 5% discount.
