hondata rev limit setting?

Default hondata rev limit setting?

could someone please help me and tell me how to set the rev limit on my car! The instructions on hondata.com are very confusing!!!!!

This is the static way to do it (motor not running)

Let's say we are setting the rev-limiter at 8100 rpms

1. Turn key to "on" position, dont start the car.

2. Press red button 5 times

3. Tap brake pedal

4. Press red button 8 times for 8000 rpms
After I do this, I watch the CEL to make sure it blinks 8 long blinks.

5. Tap brake pedal

6. Press red button 1 time for 100 rpms. Verify by watching the CEL do 1 long
blink, pause, long blink, pause...

7. Tap brake pedal.

All done!
