Default Hondata problems, need help

Ok I have a stage 3bd system. I just went out and tried to adjust my launch control and it did not respond at all. A few weeks ago when we had it on the dyno we couldnt get it to rev past 8000. Tony1 tried going straight to the ecu to change the revs but had no luck at all rather than using the red button. Both mehtods failed. Then today I noticed I cant change anything at all. My launch control is stuck at 3205 according to the datalogging. Here is what I did on trying to adjust it.
Turn ignition on
Press red button once to select launch control (engine light flashes)
Press it 4 times to set it at 4000 (still flashing)
tapped brake pedal (still flashing)
hit it 5 more time to select 500 RPMS Still flashing)
tapped brake pedal (still flashing)
turn igniton switch off then on again. (Enigne light went away)

Am I doing it the correct way if so what do you think is wrong. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I talked to someone over at hondata and they told me to do this. With the datalogging hooked up tap the brake pedal to see if the hondata is even seeing the brake light come on. Sure enough there was no brake light. I looked at the switch and everything seems to be ok on the actual pedal, my brake lights still work. Does anyone know what wires to look at on the harness in regards to this matter. If anyone has any info on how to do so please get up with me. Also how hard is it to just bypass all of the stage 3 features. If it comes down to it I may just bypass all of them cause this launch limiter being stuck at 3 grand is driving me insane.

Just unplug the cable from the interface box for the clutch switch

Have you tried resetting the interface box per the instructions in the user manual?

Also there are wiring diagrams on the Hondata website that show the pinout for an OBD1 ecu.
