Default Hondata on OBD2??

I have a 96 civic EX d16y8, and I am having my motor built very soon and wanted to get a really good tune. I think I am leaning more towards Hondata, but I was wondering if I can use it on my ECU, which is OBD2. Is this possible, or what do I need to do?

Hondata will not work with a obd2 ecu.It will work on an obd2 car with an adapter to a obd1 ecu.
