i'm in the process of building my b16 back up and was wondering what would be the better of the two... hondata or e manage and why... i don't know that much about either... all i know is that i would be able to adjust the e manage myself... TIA
You need to find a Hondata dealer if you don't know what your doing. A shop here in town charges 800 for the hondata ecu and then he dyno tunes it for your specific motor. I would find a knowledgeable shop to install it and tune it on their dyno.
They can also make different chips that can be removed and replaced. You can have a track chip (nitrous) and a street chip.

I was asking to be sure but the Hondata s200 has numerous capabilties. ::
1.) Their is Full-time Real datalogging that can provide up to 3 hours of real time data ant any given RPM.
2.) Depending on the add-ons You have the ability to do FULL Throttle Shifts,,
3.) You can do Rev limits and set the Launch points. Great for Drag Racing.
4.) A 3d dimensional fuel and spark map. which can be viewed a laptop or desktop using Windows program.
5.) You can possibly never ever have to change out your standalone again. It controls Fuel Injectors and can provide adjustabiltiy at any given cc..
Anyhow I am planning on becomming a Hondata s200 tuner soon. Hope this helps a bit...

It drives like a stock turbocharged vehicle!
Perfect transitions if it is tuned properly.
