I have the hondata 3b system and I recently installed the clutch switch and now my redline is all screwed up I called myself setting up the full throttle shift and the 2 step but its all f*cked up my car now has a 6500 rev limit I have tried to raise it like they show you on the hondata website but it doesn't work any suggestions ?

do you have the datalogger too...if so hook a laptop up and read what the data logger shows for your max rev. can you change your 2 stage the launch setting.

 

I have a laptop and I tried to hook up the hondata but I don't get anything I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong is there anyway to reset the settings I need to take to my hondata dealer 80 miles away just don't have time

i know what you are saying i am that far from my tuner too...um you could call him up the only thing i can say is that the 4 pin connector that goes to the inside of the ecu might have got pulled i have never had this problem with my hondata. you could pull the power on the ecu and see if that helps or call you dealer and ask him how to reset all your launch stuff...did you try pulling the launch switch clip off the ecu. where did you hook up your launch switch.

 

Well, when you turn key to on (without engine running) does light on interface light up solid? If not, could have communications issue with interface to ECU (again, via 4 wire connector into ECU)

 

I haven't unplugged the ecu yet I'll try that and my red flashes 1 time when I start the car then its a solid light
