Default home compression test
is there a tool that checks an engines compression to make sure there are no leaks/bad rings and such? or do you have to take it somewhere to get done?

It is a guage with a hose that screws into the spark plug chambers.......autozone/kragen/pep boys.

MAKE SURE, you have all of the spark plugs out when you do the test AND get a Haynes manual, they are 25 bucks and are great!

There just vaccum guages that shouldn't cost more than 50 bucks.
