Holley pump probs
K, I put a Holley fuel pump in my CRX at 258k kilometers, 'cause the new engine killed the old pump. Since it was an Integra part, I had to rewire the pump and play with the brackets to get it to fit right and connect electrically. Oh, and I had to guess about which was the positive and which was the negative connection.
The problem is, I find that the system depressurizes in about 2 hours (I have a B&M fuel pressure gauge and adjustable pressure regulator). I've tightened the regulator and gauge, the underhood fuel lines, and installed screw-type clamps to all the fuel lines that I removed when installing the new pump that I can reach without pulling the fuel tank again, and it's still depressurizing. I have to prime the pump before I can start the car, and when it's running, it makes a high-pitched "wheeeeeeee" sort of sound.
Is it possible that I wired the pump to run backwards (which might explain why the system is depressurizing and making that wheee sound), or am I suffering from a fuel leak? Any thoughts?

the loss of pressure after sitting is not a issue. Everytime you goto start the car fuel pump builds pressure.
BTW the Walbro pumps do this rather quickly.
I would check your B&M FPR first though, they are known to bleed off fuel pressure after sitting.
