Default Did my fuel pump just go bad?

Today I noticed that my intank fuel pump got noticeably louder...I can hear it over my inline pump. I checked my fuel pressure gauge and it has dropped down to 38 psi from 52 psi. How can I check if my fuel pump has gone bad? And if it has died, is it safe to boost since I still have a working inline fuel pump?

I hear the intank if not working acts as a restricter if it is not working so if I were you I would take it out, maybe run a hose instead and keep the inline.

The strange part is that I can still hear my intank, I heard if its bad, you won't hear the intank at all.
