Default Highest streetable compression ratio?

Im contemplating on going all-motor instead of turbo because of the money factor. What is the highest CR I could use on 92 octain pump gas, its they highest we have in Oregon. Im thinking about the 12.27-13.04:1 CR 86mm endyn Roller waves? Or could I go all the way up to the 13.13-14.03:1 CR version?

If I decide on this, I will use a b18b block w/Golden Eagle sleeves bored to 86mm.

I am running 12.379:1 on 93 octane. No problems. Have seen as high as 12.6:1. with tuning, I would think just shy of 13:1 is doable...

On the Endyn web site ( http://www.theoldone.com ) it says the CR of the NA low is 12.27-13.04:1 Does that mean it will vary depending on the application, or you can get them enywhere between those numbers? What kinda of WHP and Torque are you guys making with a CR in the mid to uper 12's? Would I be asking to much to try to get 220-230 to the wheels?

For those of you who have not read my other post, this it what Im thinking.

b18b block
golden eagle sleeves, 86mm bore
Endyn roller wave pistons, 12.27-13.04:1 CR
Eagle Rods
z10 block gridle
b16 head
Endyn head work (port & polish, valve job, valves, ect...)
Crower reataiers
Eibach valve springs
Cams (not sure, maybe ITR???)
ITR intake manifold
ITR throttle body
RC 370 injectors
Hondata Stage 3
CM stage 3 clutch
CM flywheel
GSR or SI tranny
Quaffa (sp?) LSD

What do you guys think? All-motor monster capable? Does anyone have any opinions on the cams I should consider? Remeber, this is not set in steel, just somthing im considering unstead of a turbo.

i am running 13:1 arias pistons on eagle rods and i havent had problems....just make sure the timing is perfect....and on your setup you wanna run, if you wanna get the maximum performance for all motor, dont get the ITR ****, just spend the extra cash and get the crower stage 3 cams, jg manifold, etc..etc.. i ran the ITR **** for a while, then put the bigger cams and manifold and its a whole lot better, it is extremely worth the money.....but i have about the same setup you are going to build....here is mine,
B18c block, 85.5mm bore
B16a head, ported polished, milled, etc..etc..
Crower springs and retainers
Crower Stage 3 cams
Big ol' throttle body
Arias 12.5:1 pistons
Eagle H-Beam rods
B16a Tranny
ACT 6 puck clutch
Skunk 2 manifold
DC headers to straight pipe
Pulleys
Aem Fuel Rail and Fuel presure Reg.
CTR fuel pump
310cc injectors
SCE Copper head gasket
im sure i left **** out, but with this setup, it should run high 12's all day long in my del sol.....you shouldnt have any problems with the setup you wanna run

you will definatly be over 210 to the wheels. but get better cams. try the skunk2's or toda's.

I have never rode in a "fast" all-motor honda, what does it feel like? Is it as fun as a boosted car?

Oh, I once heard that you cannot run anymore than the ITR cam profile if you are running a Vtec head on a non-vtec block, is this true? That is why I was planning on the ITR Cams.

BTR ALL MOTOR: What kinda of gas mileage are you getting? What octain gas? I am limited to 92 octain.

What is Toda's web site? How much do their cams cast? What RPM do they produce peak power at? What about the Crowers? I don't want to take it much above 8,500.

What kinda of bore x stroke ratio would I have with a 86mm bore and 89mm storke? Would it be more stable that the stock 81mm bore and 89mm stroke?

Going N/A instead of F/I because of money factor? HHmm... ? I think going F/I is cheaper then N/A. Getting 210HP out of a F/I is alot easier then doing it N/A. Anyways.. 13:1

i dont get great gas mileage but it isnt that bad. I runn on 93 octain right now, as long as you get your timing tight its ok. and yes, when v-tec kicks in on a fully built all motor car, it feels better then boost......NA is the only way to go.....but NA is more expensive then just buying turbo.....and you will always have to keep working on all motor ****....ummm, the CROWER cams give more of top end power.....iif you dont plan on taking your car past 85 grand dont go all motor because thats the only place all motor cars have power is between 8000-9500.......so get used to pushing your car to its limit.....and yes, you will blow headgaskets
