I searched highest compression Pump gas and I could only find info on 93 octane. Cali really sucks and we only get 91 octane. So my question is what is the highest compression I could run with Endyns rollerwave pistons (81.5mm bore) in an LS/vtec set-up with an ITR head and stock sleeves?

 

I would say the highest compression you can run on stock sleeves is about 11.5:1-12:1, but you need to have a good engine management system such as hondata. Also there is less room for error, so the motor needs to be tuned with precision. You really dont need anything more than that for a street car, just get a good set of cams and you should make some nice numbers. What does ur whole set up consist of??

 

i wouldnt go over 12:1 just to play on the safe side.
