high idle.. can't adjust.. please help!
idle is around 1200-1300 & i can't adjust it any lower via throttle body screw. i just got done spraying brake clean all over coolant lines & the intake system, but no change in the idle speed.. no bogging.. nothing..
last weekend i took my car to the top speed governor & ever since then my idle has been fucked up. i feel like an *** now & yes i've searched, but nothing seems to fix! any suggestions?

A little help? Maybe a year and model? Ya know a 1972 SOHC 750 4 with 26mm mikunis, that sort of thing so those of us that are willing to help have some idea of what we're trying to help you with! Not trying to be too much of a smart ***, but you've got to help out a bit.
Have you checked the obvious like the throttle cable and ignition timing?

sorry.. im used to posting in the integra forum.. its a 94 jdm b18c. check the throttle cable & ignition timing how? my spark plugs all looks new.. and um.. yea..
make sure your throttle cable is allowing the throttle plate to close and idle (not to tight or binding)....I would also see if you throttle camber is clean...that can change you idle speed if its not allowing your t-body to close all the way..
You don't need spay brake clean on your intake manifold or you coolant lines for any reason.......unless your checking for a intake leak....this will cause you rpm to up with the added fuel....but, i don't think thats your problem

ok.. um, i was checking for vacuum leaks with the brake clean, but i did take off the intake and there is some black carbon silt stuff built up around the throttle body plate.. how do i clean it??
spay some gum cutter or intake cleanier on a old tooth brush and crack open your throttle body and clean the camber not the plate (don't scrub to hard to score camber or plate)......make sure your throttle plate closes flush when done.......also check you throttle cable adjustment..make sure it's not to tight......I hope this helps...let me know
