Default HID Comparison

Does anyone have HID on there car and have any pics they can post along with the K they have. So i can see what diff types look like? And what would the HID's that are on the tsx's and tl's be rated at Kelvin wise? If anyone knows i would greatly appreciate it.

I cant answer any of your questions, but i was looking into these as well or just angel eyes and i came accross a pretty cool site, im not sure how it rates price wise but a little more then 200 for angela eyes is worth it to me.

http://www.mytightride.com/euro-headlights.html

There is alittle information about HID kits, how much they costs, what you need to convert etc.

Hope this can be of any help to you.

not to flame but trying to compare HID colors on the internet is very pointless, as everyone has different cameras, and will be capturing the colors at different white balances, a set of 4300k may look as blue as a set of 1000k hids depending on the picture.

you really need to see them in person to judge better.

In a picture maybe, in RL 4300 is always a white color and 1000 would be yellow if i'm not mistaken.

there's a color chart from the same guy, same car I believe that shows the colors

yeah i mean if u have one guy take all the pictures with the same exact whitebalance setting and waht not, it will be a pretty good comparison, just that random people here posting their own pics probably wont help the guy much.

x2

and isnt there a legality issue there? i'm guessing it depends on what state you live in but i know here in WI you cant be driving with anything more than something like 8K. and i have known people to get pulled over for it. Its almost like driving with your brights on do you really need that much light on the road?

I have 8k in my 5th gen. Its a pretty significant blue. Bright as heck. I would suggest either 6k for a more white balance or 8k. Either one looks sick. Funny when your at a stopsign and people driving by look over into your car and you can see exactly what they're doing and the facial expression they make because its so bright.

You see their facial expressions because your lights are not properly aligned.

Aim them down before you cause an accident.
