HID Cleaning? Quick help needed.
Okay I just got some HID bulbs and ballast. I put them in and they work pretty good. Well i took them out tonight because I need to fit them in better so my beam pattern is better and I get more light on the ground. Well while looking at the bulbs I see a small brown burn spot. I guess either me or one of my friends might have touched the bubl by accident. My question is what is the best way for me to get this off or clean the bulbs of any oil so the my HID's will last longer?
I hear that if they have oils on them that they will most likely get hotter (burned spot) and not last as long. Well as most ppl know, HID bulbs are pretty expencive so I would like these to last as long as possible. Please get help me out quick so that I can clean them off and refit them in. Thanks for any help that is given.

Nevermind looks like I found it myself with some luck and hardcore searching.
"To remove any film and to clean it in general, use isopropyl alcohol and a sterile natural cotton swab(better to use) or a q-tip."
