so i have a 92 eg hatch with a obd1 b16 in it and a p30 as the ecu . it didnt come with a harness so vaporboy13 made me one with obd1 injector clips on an obd2 harness . for some reason it wont start ......please help

 

do you get power, does it crank, does fuel pump turn on, what do you have besides car not starting

 

it cranks but nothing happens , fuel pump works , it was getting power to the coil but no spark .today i tryed putting another ground on it and now its getting spark i think but not shure cuz my test light broke and i ran out of gas

 

so it cranks? put back where all oringinal grounds were and make good connection get some gas , check for spark again, have someone put screwdriver in boot and hold near ground and crank it to check for the spark or hold boot by the well, check all the wiring since was made, wires,distributer?

 

coulld be a little plug on the starter near your airbox,check all the grounds

sure ur getting fuel? stater working if not try roll start

 

Its more than likely your MAP sensor not wired properly. You have to change the 3 wires around. Refer to a manual to correct it.

 

any cel codes you throwing?.. all you need is fuel and spark and you got it man..make sure you check over all your fuses got to be something real dumb

 

well i check again today if i was getting fuel pressure and i wasnt getting any so i got a new fuel pres. reg. and im ganna see if that does it
