If it is 7 long lights and the cat has failed. Locate the catalytic converter on your car and take it out of the exhaust path and inspect it. See if it has clogged. Just some thoughts. I am not too familiar with the exhaust setup on the newer preludes.

The second O2 sensor (after the cat) is not acting as it should because either the sensor is whacked or the cat is not cleaning up the exhaust. Check out the sensor first.

Agreed...check out the sensor first.

It should read about .6-.8V while cruising along. On decel, it should go totally lean, which is about .1V or less.

It should NOT mirror the response of the primary O2, meaning, it should not be swinging around as the primary O2 does. If it is, the Cat is not functioning as it should.

Hmmm... can a cat failure do any major damage to my car if i dont get it fixed right away? and another thing that might help figure out the problem.. whenever i REALLY get on the throttle i get this fuel smell in the car that i never had before...
Someone help please...

Go over your fuel system and injectors, for any kind of residue left from gas. It's usually a browinsh color, around the injectors. Otherwise, have a look at your fuel pressure regulator. I am more inclined to think it's a leak at high pressure tho....

Just my thoughts...
