Default HELP! Temperature gauge goes down in VTEC??

Heres my setup
1994 RS
built/sleeved b18a block
gsr head
jdm vtec solenoid
stock p28 auto jumped to manual

I have A4 to my vtec solenoid and D6 grounded. No CEL's.

Vtec works fine, temp gauge reads line below half. When Vtec kicks in my temp. gauge goes down. When Im out of vtec it goes back up to normal. Any answers please. Thanks.

Does the temperature guage move suddenly? Check for ground problems. The temperature sender for the gauge is not too far away from the VTEC solenoid. They both ground themselves thru the head over to that ground wire on the vavle cover.

Nope not the grounds. There is continuity between the neg. battery post and the vtec solenoid and the ground at the thermostat. Only a 1 ohm difference in grounds. Other people told me it could be my thermostat.
