Default sticky throttle?

Hey guys, just want to say thanks in advance. This has been going on for a while now, i have a 97 civic dx with an 99 SiR2 engine and a Type R throttle body. Every time i have to stop hard (step on the brakes to stop at a red light for example) or let go of the gas peddle for a bit, the throttle gets "stuck". I have to repeatedly step on the gas peddle lightly or sometimes floor it to get the throttle to become unstuck. The reason i say its the throttle and not the peddle itself, is because i accelerate via the throttle body and it became stuck as well I'm looking for possible reasons behind this and hopefully a solution. Thx again.

I just bought a 2000 civic and i thought it had a sticky tb as well..I had to almost floor it to get it to move because the throttle cable had so much slack.
