ok thanks for lookin on to the problem...
Ihave a 92vx hatch 1st gen b16 block 00 type r head, p28 rechipped...Ok before i put the type r head on my car ran fine vtec kicked in i could feel it pull,now i put the type r head on and i dont have vtec..i know for a fact i dont....and yes i let the car warm up...

things ive tried to fix the problem:

- no check engine light
-speedo works

-changed oil
-changed ecu
-changed vtec noid and pressure switch
-replaced o-ring and dowel pin in head

I dont know what else to try...

 

have you checked vtec oil pressure?when vtec kicks, minimum of 50 psi

 

how can i check this what do i have to do i dont have a gauge?
