Default Help with new ride!

Hey all, as you see I'm new to the forum and to hondas..
I just picked up a 97 prelude with a jr supercharger and the guy I bought it from picked it up from an auction so I really have no idea what mods it has, besides what I can see.. Supercharger+JR Engine management+boost control, Msd ignition, short ram intake, full 2.5" catless exhaust, some type of Fuel pressure regulator, Vafc "I know" not sure on the fuel pump or injector size and supposedly it has an act clutch...

Anyway, It seems to run pretty smooth at part throttle and I just installed a mech. boost gauge, and the vacuum seemed to be around 20hg at idle but when I went wot I didn't see any boost building on the gauge and it feels kind of choppy so I'm sure it needs a good tune so I really don't feel safe getting on it right now... My question is, not being sure about the fuel setup and not being sure if I'm even getting boost how would you guys go about making this car right?? My next step is a wideband so I can at least give the car a rough tune with the vafc before I go with something a little more extensive but for now I just want to get the car running as strong as possible before anything else. It seems like the car was done right with the exception of some of the wiring, so I assume it has a bigger fuel pump and injectors at least but for now I'm not positive.

I was looking a jackson racing site and they don't have much info at all?? If anyone has any good links to show the aftermarket stuff they make that would be awesome.

What would be a safe boost level assuming I have all supporting mods for a h22 with stock internals? <<<"At least I think"

Also the afpr doesn't have a guage so what is stock fuel pressure and should I look into getting a gague for the fpr??

Thanks for looking and I appreciate any opinions or help.

After doing a little more reading 7-8psi seems to be a good start and if I want to change the crank pulley I can get an extra couple psi out of it??? If I do that it will be around 10psi and I'll need to get an intercooler because the blower will be spinning close to its max recommended rpm?? Does this sound right? What kind of power with a good tune would 8psi give me with the h22, I know its hard to say but ballpark?? Would you guys recommend getting a intercooler even at 8psi?

I had a JRSC on a B18 and there really is no good way of getting an intercooler installed. There are a few shops that will do a custom setup involving splitting open your intake manifold and sandwiching a cooler in it. But by the time you factor in the cost (~1200-1500), well, you could spend a little more and get a complete turbo setup.
Around town driving, you'll be ok air intake temp wise. But if you plan to go on track, then 5 minutes into a 20 minute session, you'll see your air intake temps matching your coolent temps. Not really a good thing......
