help me pleassssssee!
Ok i have a newly built LSVTEC...heres the problem i have no vtec, ive searched and searched even viewing the post about vtec troubleshooting by kamin and still i can not figure it out...heres what ive done so far...
-changed oil : 10w30 topped off
-installed oil pressure guage at 3,000 rpm i get around 55-60 psi
-no dent in oil pan
-new oil filter
-cleaned oil pickup tube again
-vtec noid clicks when hard wired
- NO check engine lights
- ive tried different ecu's that do work for a FACT
help me please, im stumped

How did you 'hard wire' the VTEC solenoid? Does anyone know what voltage it's SUPPOSED to get?
Just an idea. I really don't know...
Most things on the car are supplied with battery voltage, & the ECU closes the ground side of the circuit. The VTEC solenoid is about the only thing that actually receives power FROM the ECU. I have no idea why Honda did it that way.
When it gets power from the ECU, I bet it's much lower than battery voltage. What's the ECU's regulated (internal) power supply? 8v? Anybody know? If you gave it battery voltage you may have fried the solenoid.
