HELP me fix code 6 and 7!!!
I've been driving around for a couple months now with these codes because I dont know how to fix them. Can someone PLEASE help me out??? Code 6 is Engine Coolant Temp. sensor, and code 7 is TPS Sensor...help help help!
The TPS is the Throttle Position Sensor and detects the exact throttle position
the Coolant Engine Temp Sensor is the sensor that tells when your fan will go on or not from the ECU.
You will probably need to replace the engine coolant temp which is by the thermostat, or make sure the wiring is good on it.
as well as the TPS sensor which is right behind the throttle body and is black.
make sure they are plugged in and properly working.
if they are plugged in, you will want to go to a junk yard and get a new TPS sensor as well as the coolant one if you cannot get 'em working.
