hey is it possible to take a d15 bottom end and put a d16y8 head on it and get it running right???? what all has to be done to get it right??? i'm just wondering

 

It bolts right up! Like stock just run some wires for the vtec .

 

i dont have to do it up like ls/vtec with the braided hose or anything like that , i just bolt it up and vtec wires

bolts up, but needs something to run the vtec...either a vtec ecu or vafc...dont know much about it. but u should beable to use the d15 dis...if u keep it obd0...but if u swap to obd1 (vtec ecu) u might need the d16 vtec dist.

 

why dont you just get a y8 or any other sohc vtec long block , you can pick them up for 200-400 and save all the hassle.

 

It's called a mini-me. It works ok If you have nothing else. From what i was told.
