HELP! im using an ecu from an automatic in a manuel?

im trying to use an automatic transmission p06 for my manuel ls vtec swap. do i need to do something to the ecu so make it a manuel ecu or what? HELP!
You can convert your auto P06 to manual. I do them all the time. As for the rest of your swap as long as you followed a good Auto to manual swap thread. I'm not 100% on what harness you guys use to do the swaps. Seems like swapping a full harness just to get rid of a few ATM/ TCU & ECU wires would be a lot of work.
Are you familiar with soldering?

so when u convert the ecu to manuel what do u do? can u give me a link so i can give it to my buddy doing the ecu. or explain how to do it

If you have a buddy that chips ECU's he probably already knows what resistors to remove and what to jump.
If not it's a pretty simple mod. Here is what he needs to do,
Remove the resistor @ RP17
Replace the resistor @ RP18 with a jumper wire.
