Help with IGNITION Problem
Just recently, I turn the key to the "on" position and I'm not seeing any light on the guage cluster...like you normally do. It's not the fuse because when I turn it a little beyond the "on" position. I get those lights (Check Engine, Brake, ABS). It's a 96 GSR. The problem I'm having is..when I start the car..it would just shut off..like there is no power....but when i start the car and hold the key beyond the "on" position...the car stays on....what do you guys think could be my problem? Ignition switch? Everyone's inputs is appreciated.
Ignition switch.
There may be a silent 'good will warranty' available. I don't know the specific models and years affected, but I recall there was a widespread problem with the switches. Search around the net, or pump a dealer or two for information about any warranty.
