i have an autometer 5" tach with a shift light and i need to know where the green wire gets connected in an 89 crx.

 

I dont remember exactly hich wire does what,but i believe the red is 12v,black is ground,white is tach signal(blue wire from the 2 wire plug off of distributor) and green is for the tach lights.Im not 100% sure though,as on some tachs green is the signal wire,in which case it neesd to go to the blue wire on the 2 wire plug from the distributor.

 

Got it. I knew green was for the tach reading, just didn't know where to hook it.
